1.Committee members had to be Homeowners
2.Homeowners nominated or self-nominated for committee appointments should not be involved in any current litigation against the HOA.
3.Homeowners must reside on property
4.A cross-representation of former and new nominations or self-nominations will be considered for appointment
5.Once all above criteria are met, in an effort to be fair and impartial, all selections of committee appointees from all participants will be done by random selection via blind drawing.
Additionally…..
6.To avoid any appearance towards conflict of interest, Board will not make Chair Person appointments to committee members with a spouse or significant-other currently holding a position on the board.
7.For committee with more nominations or self-nominations than positions available (9), Alternates were drawn by random selection
8.If any member of a committee chooses to step down or resign from the committee, they must submit a written notice to the board. At the next board meeting, the board will then accept the resignation and appoint the next Alternate from the randomly drawn list.
9. If an appointed Chairperson chooses not to hold that position, the committee may select a Chairperson from the remaining members at their next meeting, then they must submit a written notice to the board so the new Chairperson can be appointed in an open board meeting.
